Wheels for Meals Car & Motorcycle Show

The Wheels for Meals Open Vehicle & Motorcycle Show and Cookie Caper are set for Saturday, October 15 at First Baptist Church Shreveport.

Corporate and individual sponsors are being sought who have a heart to help the homeless. Net Proceeds will benefit the homeless sheltered at the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission.

Vehicle Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the car show is open to the viewing public from noon to 4 p.m.

The Cookie Caper will take place between noon and 2 p.m. Homemade cookies will be available for purchase.

For Wheels for Meals, the pre-registration vehicle entry fee is $20, or $25 the day of the show.

All events are open to the viewing public. Hot dogs, soft drinks, nachos, popcorn, and cookies will be available for sale. There is a playground for the children.

First 100 vehicle registrants will receive a free T-shirt, goodie bag, and dash plaque.

Vehicle awards will be given in 11 categories (top 3 places in each): Antique, Corvette, Ford, General Motors, Import, Mopar, Motorcycle, Mustang, Special Interest, Street Rod, and Truck.
