Ways to Donate Goods for the Homeless

The Rescue Mission relies heavily on individuals, organizations, businesses and churches to supply its operational needs and achieve its goal of helping the homeless in our community. Donations are always needed and always welcomed!

INDIVIDUALS:

The homeless always need basic items like food, clothing, toiletries, medications and hygiene products. Please review the Immediate Needs List (updated weekly) and the Ongoing Needs List (updated monthly) for items that you might have around your house to donate. Donations can be dropped off at 901 McNeil Street. Still not sure what to donate? Contact us and we’ll gladly help!

BUSINESS/CHURCH/ORGANIZATION:

Needs Lists:

Immediate Needs List (September 2012)

Ongoing Needs List

Consider hosting a donation drive! Review the Immediate Needs List and Ongoing Needs List and select an area (medical/hygiene/clothing) that you wish to focus on. Contact us for help with publicity or help with selecting items that you wish to collect. We can even provide collection barrels if you wish. Choose the items you wish to collect, pick a date, send out publicity and watch it happen! We’d be glad to help in any way we can.
