Over 4,500 are homeless each year in Northwest Louisiana. The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission provides 172 beds for homeless men, women, and families with children. The Mission sheltered 1,200 men, women and families with children last year, providing 137,898 meals and 45,966 nights of lodging.

Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is hosting the annual Community Golf Classic on Monday, April 16 at East Ridge Country Club.
Northwest Louisiana businesses and churches are invited to become corporate sponsors for the event. Last year’s event raised $40,000 for the Rescue Mission, and this year’s goal is $45,000.
