The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is looking for professionals committed to our mission of ending homelessness. Our dedication to making a difference in the lives of homeless men, women and children means that we need to draw upon the talent and teamwork that comes from having a diverse staff.

Cashier
The Mission Thrift Store of the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is seeking a motivated individual for a part time cashier position. As a ministry extension and support of our shelter services, eligible candidates must be personable, reliable, and ready to engage in ministry with our clients. Sorter
The Thrift Store ministry of the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is looking for full time or part time help in our receiving area. This position greets donors, completes donation receipts, and separates the donations according to usefulness and type. Prospective employees must have good people relations, be observant, use good time management, and be able to follow directions. Any candidate must be ministry-minded as this position works closely with clients as well as donors. Applicants must also be physically able to lift light loads, approximately 10-15 pounds.
