Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission has a variety of speakers available to address your business, church group, organization, club, or school group about the issue of homelessness in Northwest Louisiana. Rev. Henry Martin has spent the last 24 years helping the homeless at Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. The Mission has grown from two employees to over 40 on staff. Rev. Martin is a licensed substance abuse counselor, an ordained minister, and he has served as a missionary.

Claudia Martin, RN, is over Women & Family Services and the SBRM Medical/Dental Clinic. She has gained extensive experience during her 20 years as a registered nurse, most recently as a cardiac rehab nurse at Christus Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport. She attended Northwestern State University School of Nursing.

Claudia Martin, RN

Rev. Jim Brackman went through the Rescue Mission's program in 1992. Jim has a bachelor's degree in music and a master's in theology from Los Angeles University. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors.

Rev. John Anderson, a native of Shreveport, has been involved in ministry for 23 years as a pastor, evangelist, and prison minister. He is Director of Zion Ridge and pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, an outreach ministry to the homeless.

DJ Hejtmanek has worked in development and public relations for the past twenty-three years for several different non-profits. She is a graduate of Baylor University. DJ oversees marketing, fundraising, grant writing, goods donations, and volunteer coordination for the SBRM.

Anna Adams is a graduate of University of North Texas and has a master's degree in non-profit administration from LSUS. She coordinates all the volunteer activities at SBRM, conducting a monthly Volunteer Orientation and administering a federal housing grant.
