Over 200 area residents have contributed to the 450 recipes in the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission’s recently published cookbook, Our Daily Bread. Copies are available for purchase at $20 each.

Cookbook sales will support the work of the Rescue Mission, helping the homeless men, women and children who seek shelter, food and clothing.

Cookbooks can be picked up at the Rescue Mission, 901 McNeil St. in Shreveport, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The cost is $20.

The cookbook is also available at Tower Book Store in the Uptown Shopping Center on Line Avenue, and at Barksdale Federal Credit Union on Airline Dr. across from Lowe's and Wal-Mart.
