Project Mission Tree

WHAT is IT? Pre-lit Christmas Tree ornamented with the residents wish list from the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission on them! Each tree will have a boy/girl/woman/man ornamental tag on it. The tag will display what the individual wish is, how old they are, etc. Each gift should not exceed a maximum of $30.

WHO will receive these gifts? The Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission residents and their children

WHEN is IT? Through Dec. 15, 2009

WHERE can my church, business, etc. get a tree? A tree can be picked up at 901 McNeil St. We ask that all trees are returned with gifts and tags by December 15, 2009 to the 901 McNeil in Shreveport.

WHY are we doing this? Too many times we forget about the people right here in our own cities that are hurting during the holidays. This is an opportunity to give back and know that it will impact someone’s life right here in the Shreveport/Bossier area.
