FAQs

We are thrilled you are interested in volunteering at the Rescue Mission. When you serve here, you are truly fulfilling God’s call to serve those who need to experience His love. You join a group of people who desire to be the change they want to see. Together, with your gifts, talents, commitment, service, and time – change happens! We invite you to see the difference.

If you are looking for volunteer hours to fulfill any state/federal government requirement, please be aware that the Mission is unable to fulfill these requests. In addition, if you are interested in volunteering for court ordered community service, we are unable to facilitate those hours.

Please browse around the volunteer section. If you have additional questions, please email volunteers@nullsbrescuemission.com.

Volunteer Opportunities

There is always an opportunity to volunteer. All new volunteers must start by attending a Volunteer Orientation!

Volunteer Orientations are typically hosted on the first Saturday of each month, excluding July and December. For information about volunteer orientation and our opportunities, click here.

If you can help with any of our immediate needs, please email volunteers@nullsbrescuemission.com.

Volunteering will be coordinated through the Director of Women and Children’s Program and additional volunteer screening is required. You and the Director of Women and Children’s Program will coordinate an activity such as play a game, tell Bible stories, or provide a craft activity.
