The Finish Line – A New Beginning

Often times when we hear the word graduation, we picture caps flying in the air, tassels turning, and names being called across a stage. Here at the Mission, graduation sometimes looks a little different but is just as meaningful.

Our Life Recovery Program is the umbrella for many more programs designed to meet our guests right where they are. Each program helps to restore what was lost and equip our guests with the tools, support, and the Christian foundation they need to walk in their Jeremiah 29:11.

Trinelle graduated our Bridge Program, created for guests who are working full-time, saving money and preparing to move into their own home. Trinelle did just that, she transitioned into her own apartment and is thriving at work. Her smile shows the joy she has received from the Lord and all of the promises he has fulfilled throughout her journey.

Sion graduated Head Start! But this isn’t just about completing a program. It is a result of having a safe, Christ-centered environment where he and his mom are supported, loved, and equipped. His joy and curiosity are contagious, and his future is full of promise.

Ila graduated from our Pathways Program, serving our guests who are unable to work due to medical reasons. Though her path didn’t involve employment, it was filled with perseverance and faith. With the Missions help, Ila was able to transition into a long-term skilled nursing facility where she can receive the on-going care she needs, while continuing to grow in her relationship with the Lord.

Eugene graduated our long-term New Beginnings Program for those who are wanting deep healing and complete transformation. Eugene’s journey wasn’t easy, but his commitment to recovery and reliance on God’s word helped him reach the finish line.

Angela graduated our Ministry Intern Program after going through life recovery herself. Her heart for the ministry led her to intern, and her faithfulness opened the door to full-time employment here at the Mission. Now, she ministers to others just as she was ministered to. A beautiful example of 2 Corinthians 1:4.
